This precision cut felt wick is mounted in the reverse hear assembly hub to wick oil and lubricate. Absorbent nature of these felts allows oil to soak into them which keeps a thin film on the shaft at all times.
Wick is sold in set of 1 and is very reasonably priced so don’t miss out on a chance to pick one up for your lathe.
